I committed to ensuring the protection of personal information collected in the conduct of business. The privacy policy is designed to inform my clients and others I work with, about how I collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

What is personal information and how do I collect it?

I collect information to provide adoption counselling and behaviour support, and to effectively manage my business relationships. The types of personal information I collect may be business contact details or may include further information  to support you and your dog.

What will I collect? 
 
I may collect:
  • Your name and telephone number

  • Information including email address

  • Your postcode

  • Detailed information about your dog, including health, diet, exercise, training and behaviour 

  • Other information relevant to supporting you and your dog

How will I use this information? 

I may need this information to understand you and your dog’s needs, to support you and for the purpose of internal record keeping. ​

I may use your information to contact you for marketing by email. 

Disclosure of personal information

I will not disclose, share, sell or rent any personal information I hold about you without your consent or are required by law to do so. 

Accuracy of personal information 

Protecting personal information is a priority and I will always considers security and confidentiality when handling personal information. It is important that the information we maintain and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time your personal details change, please let us know so we can update our records.

Access to personal information

I will always respect your right to access personal information I hold about you.  You may request details of personal information which I hold about you under the Data Protection Act (1998).

 
Data Security

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure and take reasonable steps to protect all personal information from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. All laptops are password protected. I will destroy or de-identify your personal information when it is no longer required.

COOKIES POLICY

A cookie is a file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. When you click to accept cookies, the file is added, and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.

This information is used for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. Overall, cookies monitors which pages you find useful and which you do not.
